It sounds like a parable or a story from the Old Testament…

It was a time of great wealth in the land and a rich young ruler built a castle next to a prophet and his old house.  The prophet declared to the rich young ruler that she was building the castle for him.  At that time, the very thought was preposterous.  Yet it came to pass that a famine came upon the land and the rich young ruler lost possession of the castle, and the castle was delivered into the hands of the prophet.

Yet this has all occurred at Eagle’s Nest, with the final delivery of the castle in last August!  We have watched in amazement as God has allowed Larry Arnold’s prediction to come true.  Two magnificent homes on the property adjacent to Eagle’s Nest have been purchased for about ¼ of their previous value.  The front house will serve as a parsonage for Larry and Genece Arnold, greatly expanding the type of work that can be done at Eagle’s Nest.   The rear house will serve as housing for missionaries, both short term and long term.

Although the houses are relatively new, there is some work to be done to repair damage and to turn them into a tool for God’s purposes.  We invite you to visit us at Eagle’s Nest to view the homes and to explore ways you can partner with us in completing God’s purpose for them.
