About Our Ministry

Our Mission:

Eagle’s Nest calling through Christ is to reach the unreachable, teach the unteachable, love the unlovable, and minister to unbeliever’s the Word of God. We look to provide the physical, emotional, relational and spiritual hope to all who cry out in need.

Our Vision:

Our vision is best described by Isaiah 40:31,

“Yet those who wait for the LORD
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary”.

The heart’s desire of Eagles Nest is to have people come into a relationship and faith in Jesus Christ. We want to see believers cultivate their relationship with God, building in their hearts Godly character and convictions, becoming fully devoted followers of Him. We dream of people coming to Christ through our laboring, and re-establishing themselves as believers in Christ, as productive citizens of the community, and have them reach out to have an eternal impact on people who are in the position they once were.

We hope to be a relevant and active church filled with a contagious love that is a clear manifestation of God’s presence. This will be accomplished through providing hope for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of all the people we meet. Eagle’s Nest is a light in the darkness of a depraved environment. Our vision is to see that light grow as people are transformed and sent to impact the communities we serve.

Our Core Values:

  • People: We believe all human beings were created in the image of God and are for that reason of great value to Him. As a church we are therefore committed to seeking and reaching out to those who have not placed their faith in Christ. Jesus' purpose for coming was to "seek and save the lost" (Luke 19:10 Acts 4:12), and He has given this purpose to us (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28: 18-20).
  • Discipleship: We believe all those who find their salvation in Christ are to advance in spiritual maturity through their learning of the Word, fellowship, service and prayer. This is to strengthen their relationship with Christ becoming effective instruments to reach out and have an impact on others. The early church was devoted to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, communion, and prayer (Acts 2:42). Every Christian should be on a journey of continual growth and maturity through the Word. (Hebrews 5:12-14; Romans 12:1-2).
  • The Body of Christ: The Body should be loving, accepting and forgiving, reflecting Christ so to offer hope and purpose through community. The greatest gift that we can give to the World is the Love of Jesus (1 Corinthians 13:13). The Christian community best reflects Jesus by loving one another (Hebrews 10:24-25; John 13:34-36). The work of the Kingdom is a cooperative undertaking of the Body, each part working with the others for the health of the organism. We support partnership with other Christian groups working for the Kingdom to enhance our effectiveness.
  • Service: We believe every Christian has been gifted to be used by God in His work on earth. Christians should look to engage themselves in reaching out to the lost, to those in need, offering Christ’s love and message of hope. Whatever we do whether in "word or deed" we should do it all in the name of Jesus (Colossians 3:15-17). The early disciples lived to communicate Jesus to the World (Acts 4:18-20; 5:42). Jesus is the hope of the world. (John 14:6; Romans 10:9, 10).
  • The Bible: We believe that teaching, preaching, and application of God’s Word, in authority and truth, are a necessary element of an individual’s spiritual transformation. “All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
  • Prayer: We believe prayer because of grace is where we receive power and experience a personal relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. It is the primary means by which men can communicate with God.
